A 2 day seminar that will focus on cross-sectoral approaches for the active participation and engagement of young people in civic and democratic life through sport.
The seminar will consider how, through their active participation and engagement in sports, young people can experience the pressures, responsibilities and rewards of working and interacting with each other in group activities that have particular disciplines and aims and how these can help inform and prepare them for democratic and civic engagement in the wider society.
A key feature of the seminar is the share of good practices whilst enhancing cooperation between the youth and sport sector. The seminar will focus on issues including; leadership, teamwork, planning, goal setting, and group thinking.
Objectives of the seminar:
-To strengthen cooperation between the youth and sport sector
-To share good practices
-Active participation of young people through sports
-To create new partnerships
-To increase the understanding of Erasmus+ as a tool to create new projects
Costs
This project is financed by the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your Erasmus+: Youth in Action NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
Note: Hungarian applicants are expected to apply on a Hungarian and on an English application form, too.
