Foundation for the Development of the Education System (National Agency)
GTC targeted at staff of organizations active in the youth field and lower and upper secondary schools interested in preparing projects containing youth exchanges in the field of Youth and School Education in Erasmus+ programme.
Event is focused on short term exchanges in the field of Youth and School Education sectors. In the projects we observe not enough conscious use of a tool such as exchanges of young people. Often learning potential of exchanges is not fully used by projects coordinators, so there is a necessity of reflection concerning quality of mobility of young people.
We also observe not enough engagement of young people in the projects at every level – planning, realization, evaluation. So there is also a necessity to work on methods of youth engagement. Planning exchanges as a part of a wider process, which is a whole project, also causes difficulties.
Mentioned above issues are common for Youth and School Education sectors, so cross sectoral event concerning this subject matter is fully justified.
Participants will have opportunity to exchange experience between formal and non-formal education.
There will be also information concerning long-term mobilities of pupils, as applicants in School Education sector do not use this opportunity.
Main goal of the event is to improve quality of working and evaluation methods used in youth and school education projects.
Specific goals are:
- better understanding of the quality criteria of youth and short-term school exchanges,
- exchange of good practices,
- supporting partner-finding and networking among organizations and schools.
