Please note this training course has 2 parts: 26-28 April online and 15-19 May 2022 in Leipzig.

Digital education does not substitute “conventional” non-formal education, it can add a powerful value to make youth work more transformative, participative and accessible.

The aim of this training course is to enhance youth workers digital skills, confidence and knowledge to better integrate digital media and technologies in a well dosed manner, both content-wise and quality-wise, in their daily work.

Why taking part?

This training course will adress the power of digital transformation in youth work. It will provide participants with opportunities to strengthen their digital competences by

• diving into different dimensions of digital youth work,
• using and applying suitable tools, methods and activities,
• discovering how digital tools can be applied in everyday youth work,
• adapting conventional offline activities and methods to inspiring virtual environments, 
• developing critical and creative thinking related to technological developments and digital future,
• sharing challenges and good practices to increase quality when working in virtual settings, and
• developing follow-up projects that include blended or digital parts.

Programme implementation

In order to increase the impact, this training course consists of 3 phases:

Phase 1: Preparation - Before the training starts, participants will have the chance to dive into the topic on their own pace. They will be provided with tools and materials to discover. In this phase participants will also get familiar with the working platform for the upcoming online sessions. 

Phase 2: Training - It consists of an online and residential part (see programme draft below). The online days (26-28 April, each day 10-14h00) will be especially focussing on experiencing virtual learning environments, sharing and reflecting good and bad practises and gathering ideas for projects to further develop during the residential days. The residential days (15-19 May) will have a focus on networking and developing digital-related content, activities and tools which are useful for participants to take home and apply in their day-to-day tasks.

Phase 3: Follow-up - Reinforce the establishment of a network of youth workers who will continue to support each other on a peer-to-peer basis, whether it is to design projects or support each other in the implementation of digital activities.

This training course is a Training Practise Project (TPP) of trainers currently attending the Training of Trainers, edition 2021/22.

Information during the Covid-19 Pandemic 

The activity is planned to be residentially hosted. In case the Covid-19 Pandemic prevails and prevents travelling, JUGEND für Europa reserves the right to cancel the residential activity and organising the activity online. 

JUGEND für Europa will ensure that safety and hygienic measures needed in relation to Covid-19 Pandemic are in place during the activity. All participants will be accommodated in double rooms. In activities we use face masks and safety distance, or the safety guidelines which are valid at the time of the event. Participants will be informed before the event about concrete meassures.  

JUGEND für Europa and the hosting/ seminar place will follow and apply all COVID-19 health and safety guidelines by the German government, health departments, federal states and regional governments, which are valid by the time of the seminar. 

In order to travel, all selected participants will need to be able to show the EU Digital COVID Certificate when leaving home country and entering Germany. More detailed information about the travel guidelines will be provided to the selected participants closer to the event.

Please note, that at this stage of the call (04 March 2022) there are five recognized vaccines to enter Germany. Entry to Germany is exclusively permitted with these five vaccines and with full vaccination status. https://www.pei.de/EN/medicinal-products/vaccines-human/covid-19/covid-19-node.html 

En Detail: Regardless any prior vaccinations, you will reach full and recognized status in Germany should you prove two shots including 14 days period with vaccines:

Kérjük, egyaránt töltse ki az idegen nyelvű és a magyar nyelvű jelentkezési lapot! 

A részvétel költségei: 
A résztvevők nemzetközi utazását, ill. biztosítási költségeit a Tempus Közalapítvány Erasmus+ ifjúsági csoport, a külföldi szállás és étkezés, valamint a programhoz kapcsolódó költségeket a fogadó nemzeti iroda vagy a szervező fedezi.

A résztvevő, a programra történő utazása során felmerülő egyéb utazási költségeket (transzfer költségek), valamint az utazáshoz kötelezően szükséges egészségügyi igazolásokhoz kapcsolódó költségeket (pl. PCR teszt) - mint a programhoz történő résztvevői hozzájárulást - fizeti. Amennyiben a transzfer költségek és az utazáshoz kötelezően szükséges egészségügyi igazolásokhoz kapcsolódó költségek együttes összege a 10.000 forintot meghaladja, úgy a Közalapítvány egyéni kérelem benyújtását követően - egyedi elbírálás alapján - a 10.000 forint feletti összeget megtéríti a résztvevő részére.

A támogatott résztvevők az utazás megszervezését követően saját felelősségükre vehetnek részt a tevékenységen. Az utazás megszervezése a Tempus Közalapítvány hatáskörébe tartozik. Az esetlegesen felmerülő többletköltségeket a Tempus Közalapítvány nem állja, a keletkezett károkért felelősséget nem vállal.
