The so called “refugee crisis”, which Europe experienced between 2015-2017 brought consequences in the EU policy and in youth work practices. Nowadays, when the emergency phase and the media attention is over, youth workers and local communities are facing new challenges and need to develop their own competences in working with young migrants, refugees and asylum seekers (YMRA). 
In the inclusion processes, everyone is involved in an intercultural learning process and a crucial role is played by the ability to actively involve local communities. 

This experiential training course will focus on 2 main areas: 

• a sharing and reflection space about the current situation at an European and local level;
• how to use local communities for the inclusion process of migrants, asylum seekers and refugees.

The italian experience in the inclusion of YMRA at local level with the active involvement of local communities will be used as a starting point for further reflection and action.

Main Aim: 
to improve the competence of youth workers to promote the active role of local communities in the inclusion of migrants, asylum seekers and refugees. 

Objectives:

• to explore the italian example of active involvement of local communities in the inclusion process including meetings with local actors;
• to reflect and discuss on the challenges that migrants, asylum seekers and refugees and youth workers face today at an European and local level;
• to offer a space for sharing good practices in inclusion of migrants, asylum seekers and refugees;
• to learn and develop knowledge, skills and attitudes to work on diversity, intercultural learning and inclusion;
• to explore how to work with local community: identify, understand and act; 
• to identify international opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes to foster inclusion;
• to promote networking and partnership among participants. 

Target group: youth workers, youth leaders, social workers working in the field of inclusion, with a special focus on migrants, asylum seekers and refugees, wishing to work with intercultural learning in the local community. 

Venue:  the training course will take place in a small village/town of central Italy active in an inclusion project for asylum seekers, migrants and refugees. This will support participants in understanding the impact of this kind of project in local communities. Participants are invited to face the challenges connected with hosting the training in a rural /remote area. Exact location of the training will be communicated as soon as possible.

A részvétel költségei: 
A résztvevők nemzetközi utazását, ill. biztosítási költségeit a Tempus Közalapítvány Erasmus+ ifjúsági csoport, a külföldi szállás és étkezés, valamint a programhoz kapcsolódó költségeket a fogadó nemzeti iroda vagy a szervező fedezi.

A résztvevő, a programra történő utazása során felmerülő egyéb utazási költségeket (transzfer költségek) - mint a programhoz történő résztvevői hozzájárulást - fizeti. Amennyiben a transzfer költségek együttes összege a 10.000 forintot meghaladja, úgy a Közalapítvány egyéni kérelem benyújtását követően - egyedi elbírálás alapján - a 10.000 forint feletti összeget megtéríti a résztvevő részére.

Értesítés a jelentkezés eredményéről: 2020. január 21.
