KICK OFF EVENT OF THE YOUTH@WORK PARTNERSHIP
In 2018, a consortium of 11 Erasmus+/Youth National Agencies (NAs) and 4 SALTO-YOUTH Resource Centres decided to take a new approach to support employability and entrepreneurship amongst young people and professionals. They, therefore, launched the Youth@Work Strategic Partnership on Youth Employability and Entrepreneurship, with the aim to better address these areas by working collaboratively, based on a common strategy.
Youth@Work is an alliance of the NAs of Turkey (the leading NA), Cyprus, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Poland, Spain, and the UK, with the support of the SALTO-YOUTH Eastern Europe and Caucasus (Poland), Euromed and Good Practices (France), South East Europe (Slovenia) and Training and Cooperation (Germany) Resource Centres. It runs from January 2018 to December 2020, when the Erasmus+ Programme ends.
This Kick off Conference will enable the Youth@Work Partnership to showcase its achievements so far, to create a platform for networking, reflection, exchanges of practices and knowledge, and to explore ways forward in addressing the topics of youth employability and entrepreneurship.
GENERAL AIM
To initiate exchanges of ideas and cooperation between actors from different sectors in order to create better opportunities for youth integration into the labour market and to make the market more accessible.
