Another event, the TCP Forum: Social Entrepreneurship, Youth and Vocational Education, will also be organized in Liverpool, UK (March 2018). The study visit is intended to enable, equip and inspire young people and professionals to discover what it is to embark on social entrepreneurship by visiting various social enterprises and social entrepreneurship support structures in Jerusalem.
Jerusalem, the largest and most diverse city in Israel, hosts a unique and vibrant community of social entrepreneurs working for the betterment of the society and the environment. In recent years, Jerusalem has undergone a renewal driven by grassroots forces of activism and social change, which have repositioned the city as a center of innovation and youth entrepreneurship.
This study visit will explore how social enterprises can become established as promoters of innovation and growth for society. It will also facilitate partnerships, create a network of social entrepreneurs and share practices and realities among the diverse social and youth entrepreneurs from Europe and Israel.
