You took part in an EVS project in the last 20 years and you are ready to share your experience? You are working in a sending or hosting organization and you would like to participate in conferences and workshop to further reflect on EVS impact and its future?

The French NA organizes a 2 days event near Paris in order to celebrate the 20th EVS anniversary and reflect on the future of the European Voluntary Service. It will gather around 150 EVS /ex EVS; EVS organizations; NA staff, Commission representatives...

The first day (September 22nd) is dedicated to volunteers who will share experiences, projects and ideas through a workshop based on the Open space methodology. Youth workers will be invited to join them in the evening. 
The second day (September 23rd) we will have conferences in the morning with policy makers/ youthworkers /EVS volunteers focusing on 2 topics: the “Genesis of EVS” and “the current EVS context”.
Then, we will end the meeting with a workshop in the early afternoon about “the future of EVS” based on the first day outcomes and the exchanges of the morning.

Volunteers will be hosted in a Youth hostel in Paris (dormitories) with the possibility to arrive on Sept 21st. 
Youth workers will be hosted in the same place on Sept 22nd at night.  The event will stop around 3 PM on Sept 23rd.

Before applying please contact the NA of your residence country to check if it is involved in this concrete project and committed to cover travel costs. NB! Learn about possible participation fee and other relevant rules.

Costs

Hosting costs (accomodation and food, content and facilities) are covered by French National Agency.
Travel costs can be covered partly or completely by the sending National Agency of the selected participants. Please check this point with your NA before applying.
French NA asks participants from France a participation fee of 30 euros for the all activity.

Note: Hungarian applicants are expected to apply on a Hungarian and on an English application form, too.
